Where I Was From

I really love a good vintage or even second hand place. Although, I really hate to dig. It sends me into an instant panic to dig though racks and racks and feel like I am finding nothing. Refinery 29 had Where I Was From on their site the other day and I instantly fell in love. I haven’t been to the physical store but the way they have styled and curated their online site is perfection. Sometimes it can be hard to envision how to work certain pieces into your wardrobe and Where I Was From eliminates that problem. And an added bonus they have some great items for your man as well.

I may have snagged the fringe duster which I am over the moon about (image below).

Classy!

There are so many slippers around these days so I love running into a brand that is not only well crafted but takes full advantage of using a little flare. Enter Del Toro. I love their motivation for creating the brand “We were three close childhood friends, who, for our boarding school graduation, badly wanted pairs of velvet shoes with our school’s emblem on them as a commemorative trimming.” Ha I think that is hysterical. Anyway, they are wonderful and you can buy them here!

Just Dont.

I have to start this post by saying I don’t mind sports at all. That being said, football ruins lives. Yup…true story. It’s always on. It can make or break a fans day depending on the outcome and it causes people to act and dress like crazy people shouting uncontrollably. So with that, I give you today’s post. I all about personal style, but there is no need to go crazy this Super Bowl week. It’s not a high school pep rally. Instead, just stick with a simple Patriots ‘throwback’ shirt. HERE . Trust me on this. I am just trying to ensure you don’t wake up Monday morning with a fashion hangover and body paint up your crack. You’re Welcome!

Pastels are warming my heart for this Spring. I think Elizabeth and James’ new Textile line does it perfectly. I love the spin on tie-dye because we all know how I feel about tie-dye. Shop here.

Sorry for disappearing, but I have a gem for you today. I love these beaded pieces. I mean if I could have all those beaded wonders on at one time I would be one happy camper. You can’t get them online unfortunately I don’t think, but there are a few stockists where you can find this great stuff.
